Right of Withdrawal
Information on the Right of Withdrawal for Consumers
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that predominantly are not attributable to their commercial or independent professional activity.
Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason, except in the case of perishable goods (see "Exclusion or Early Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal" below), such as date pralines or date gingerbread.
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us— Cultnic Ventures UG (limited liability), Heinrich-Wittkamp-Straße 17, 68167 Mannheim, Germany, Email: info@mealkarma.de by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post, fax, or email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.
Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs arising from your choice of a different delivery method than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us) without delay and at the latest within 14 days from the day we receive your withdrawal notice.
The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise. Under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for the refund.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs first.
You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and no later than 14 days from the day you notify us of your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day period has expired.
You bear the direct costs of returning the goods. You are only responsible for any diminished value of the goods if it results from handling them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functionality.
Exclusion or Early Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal expires early for contracts concerning the delivery of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons if their seal has been removed after delivery.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to consumers who, at the time of contract conclusion, do not belong to a member state of the European Union and whose sole residence and delivery address at the time of contract conclusion are outside the European Union.
