Ingredients

Madras Ven Pongal:

Rice (40,71%), Moong dal (40,71%), Coconut Oil (12.20%), Salt , Ginger, Greenchilli, Cumin, Asofetida, Black pepper, Curry leaves

Note : Weights mentioned are net weights for the article. Dry / rehydrated respectively *

Stovetop Instructions

Add 150 ml of water in a pot and boil it.

Remove oxygen absorber from the pack and Empty the Madras Ven Pongal pack into the boiling water. Lower the heat and let it simmer for 3 minutes

Turn off the heat, cover the pot, and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Microwave Instructions

Empty the Madras Ven Pongal pack into a microwave-safe bowl, remove the oxygen absorber

Add 150 ml of water and mix thoroughly

Microwave at 800 Watts for 3 minutes. Cover the bowl and let it sit for a few minutes
