Idli Sambhar

Revel in the classic pairing of fluffy Idlis and aromatic Sambhar for a wholesome meal.

Ingredients

Idli : 20g/85g *

Rice (60%), Uriddal (35%), Salt(4%), Oil (1%)

Sambhar : 30g/185g *

Canola oil (22.10%), Tomato (20.33%), Redgram (18.48%), Split blackgram (8.02%), Drumstick (6.10%), Pumpkin (5.62%), Curryleaves (4.45%), Mustard seeds (3.36%), Jaggery (3.05%), Salt (2.22%), Coriander leaves (1.6%), Redchilli whole (0.98%), Bengal gram (0.82%), Asofetida (0.8%), Kashmiri redchilli (0.73%), Tamarind (0.73%), Cuminseeds (0.2%), Coriander seeds (0.2%), Turmeric (0.13%), Fenugreek seeds (0.12%)

Cocunut Chutney : 20g/70g *

Uraddal, Dry coconut, Fried dal, Groundnut, Greenchilli, Mustard, Curry leaves, Salt

Note : Weights mentioned are net weights for the article. Dry / rehydrated respectively *

In one pot, bring 220 ml of water to a boil for Idli and Sambhar

Remove oxygen absorber from the pack and Empty the contents of each packs into the pot and stir it well.

Cook on low heat for 5 minutes for Idli and Sambhar

Add 50 ml of normal water to the Coconut Chutney pot and stir well.

Turn off the heat, cover with a lid, and let both pots rest for 5 minutes.

Serve Hot & enjoy!

Empty the Idli and Sambhar packs into separate microwave-safe bowls, remove the oxygen absorber

Add 220 ml of water to the Idli and Sambhar. Stir them in the bowl thoroughly.

Add 50 ml of normal water to the Coconut Chutney pot and stir well.

Microwave at 800 Watts for 3 minutes. Cover the bowls and let it sit for a few minutes
